ROBOSTEM FOUNDATION INC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates Jumper Mobile (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the App. This policy is designed to comply with global privacy laws, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable international data protection regulations, as well as Apple App Store requirements.

  • Team numbers entered manually
  • Custom YouTube API keys (optional)
  • Custom RobotEvents API keys (optional)

This information is used solely to provide app functionality

  • Operating system version
  • App version
  • General diagnostic and crash data
  • Anonymous usage analytics

This data is used strictly for performance monitoring, debugging, and improving the App.

We do not collect:

C. Public Event Data
The App retrieves publicly available data from:

  • RobotEvents
  • YouTube

This includes event schedules, match results, rankings, and livestream video identifiers. All such data is public and accessed through official APIs or publicly available endpoints.

We do not control the privacy practices of these third-party platforms.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Load and display VEX Robotics event data
  • Synchronize livestream video playback with match schedules
  • Provide event history functionality (stored locally on your device)
  • Improve app performance and reliability
  • Prevent misuse or abuse of the App

We do not use personal data for advertising or behavioral tracking.

3. Local Data Storage

Jumper Mobile may store the following locally on your device:

  • Recently viewed events
  • User-provided API keys (if entered)
  • App preferences

This information remains on your device unless you delete the App. We do not remotely access locally stored data.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services:

  • YouTube (via YouTube Data API V3 and embedded player)
  • RobotEvents (V2 API)
  • Expo Application Services (infrastructure and app runtime)

Your use of embedded YouTube video content is subject to YouTube’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of these services.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade user information.
We may disclose limited information only:

  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To enforce our rights
  • To protect the safety and integrity of users or the public

6. International Users

Jumper Mobile is available globally. By using the App, you understand that information may be processed in countries outside your residence, including the United States.
