What does your nonprofit do?
We coach and support VEX IQ robotics teams in California and Massachusetts, helping students learn STEM, teamwork and problem-solving. We also create educational and behind-the-scenes robotics content on YouTube to inspire others.
Who can join your programs?
Our programs are primarily designed for elementary and middle school students interested in robotics and engineering. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
How can I sign up to volunteer?
Use the sign-up form to get started. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, whether you are technical, creative or just want to help out.
What kind of volunteer roles do you offer?
- Refereeing at competitions
- Planning our events
- Developing our apps, which reach thousands of users
- Outreach, admin and fundraising
- Marketing and supply chain management
Do your programs cost money?
Everything online is free: our YouTube channel, Discord and all of our software. In-person camps and workshops are low cost, and the fee goes to the community centre that hosts us.
Can you run a program at my school or community centre?
Probably. Write to contact@robostem.org with where you are and roughly how many students, and we will tell you what we can do.
