Our first open tournament: the NorCal Silicon Valley VIQRC Mix & Match Tournament #1, co-hosted with ICC. Elementary and middle school teams from across the Bay Area played qualification and finals matches on two fields, with Excellence and Teamwork Champion awards on the line. Every role on the floor, from referee to emcee, was filled by a student volunteer.

Eight Saturday or Sunday mornings working through Level Up, the 2026-27 VEX IQ game. Students in grades 3 to 8 build from the Herobot to a competition design of their own, learn the engineering design process and coding, and scrimmage every session. The season continues at our Level Up tournament at ICC on October 10.

Five back-to-back days at ICC. Students learn the new game, Level Up, then dig into the mechanical principles behind a competitive robot: gear ratios, drivetrains, lifts and intakes. Each day ends with a scrimmage, so by Friday every team has driven a robot it designed itself.

Students learn mechanical principles, programming and how a VEX IQ competition feels. Two 8-week sessions run on Saturdays and Sundays, and many of the teams at our tournaments started here.

Teams from Silicon Valley and even Nevada came together to compete in our first VEX IQ rookie tournament, co-hosted with ICC. It was RoboSTEM's first competition.

Students design and build several different VEX IQ robots by themselves, including a claw robot and a conveyor robot. Our beginner program on the East Coast.

Campers start by building VEX IQ robots from the ground up with no experience, beginning with the Herobot. Low cost, and the first step for most of our California students.

This 8-week program introduces young students to the world of VEX IQ robotics, combining hands-on building, programming and CAD with teamwork and strategy. Co-hosted with India Community Center, the camp fosters technical skills, creativity and collaboration, and empowers kids ages 6 to 10 to explore STEM through the VEX IQ Robotics Competition, the biggest robotics competition in the world.
