Introducing OpenScout

Scouting has always been the part of competition that separates the teams who get lucky from the teams who get picked. It has also been the part that costs money, or a spreadsheet someone built at midnight and nobody else can read.

OpenScout is our answer. It is a free desktop app for scouting matches and turning the notes into statistics you can actually use at alliance selection.

What it does

• Records match scouting for every team at an event, offline, on any laptop.
• Pulls schedules and results so you never type a team number twice.
• Ranks teams by the metrics you care about, not just the ones on the leaderboard.
• Exports everything, because your data is yours.

Why we built it

We are competitors first. Every tool in the Solutions lineup started as something we wished we had in the pit. OpenScout came out of a season of trading spreadsheets over Discord and watching good teams get overlooked.
