How we built it

OpenScout for iOS is a native app, written in Swift and SwiftUI. On iOS 26 it uses Liquid Glass. Swift Charts draws the stats, PencilKit handles the whiteboard and ActivityKit runs the Live Activities.

Event data comes from VEX Events. A Cloudflare Worker at openscout.ing caches it and sends the notifications and Live Activity updates. Supabase holds accounts and Cloud teams.

The app has more than 1,000 automated tests. Each build goes to TestFlight and the App Store through fastlane.
